Result of Service
The CCAC Secretariat, UNEP, is seeking a junior professional to support the development, coordination and management of CCAC-funded projects. This role will specifically include administrative processes related to contracting of implementing organizations and project management, including through the UN Secretariat’s SAP system “Umoja.”

Duties and Responsibilities
This selected candidate will support the CCAC Secretariat’s development, coordination and management of CCAC-funded projects. More about CCAC projects: www.ccacoalition.org/projects Responsibilities: 1. Developing and reviewing project schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans. 2. Preparing documentation for contracting, plus logging and processing these in the UN Secretariat SAP system (“Umoja”). 3. Liaising with focal points in implementing partner organizations, including to complete administrative requirements related to projects. 4. Measuring project performance and ensuring that project requirements are met. 5. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation , as well as liaising with CCAC communications team members on transparency of projects via CCAC website, for knowledge management , etc. 6. Internally, advising team members on project related administrative processes, as well as project management practices. 7. Other ad hoc duties as required, including responses to internal/corporate requests for information .
Qualifications/special skills
– An Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent degree) in business or public administration, finance, accounting, law or related area is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. – A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required, ideally in project management or related business or administrative functions. – Good understanding and passion for addressing environmental issues such as climate change and air pollution (including in a developing country context) is required. – Proven planning, project management and organisational skills is required. – Experience using financial systems/finance modules of enterprise resource planning (ERP) such as Oracle, SAP, Agresso, or PeopleSoft or similar software is highly desirable. – Strong skills in technology/software solutions, using Microsoft Office 365 tools (especially SharePoint) is an asset. – Advanced Excel skills, including basic coding, is an asset.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in English is required.
