Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as support to
multiple department chairs and faculty with daily operations, including
answering phones, and directing office traffic during regular business hours.
Update and manage course scheduling via Classfinder.
Provide administrative support for organizational, informational, and communication needs to faculty and staff.
Manage course evaluation publishing each semester (DIG)
Collect and post course syllabi each semester
Manage Canvas websites for CEMB committees.
Schedule catering and room booking as needed. Serves as CEMB representative to reserve student meetings.
Assist with student recruiting, orientation, registration sessions, and college and university events as needed.
Assist and/or field student questions.
Hire and supervise academic offices’ student work-study staff.
Facilitate processing of Argos and development of academic data reports.
Maintain contact database of adjunct faculty and communicate semester reminders, due dates, items needed from adjunct faculty.
Order general office supplies and classroom supplies, gather syllabi (each semester).

Knowledge of FERPA regulations
Knowledge of computer; Microsoft Office; Microsoft Explorer; Banner; Safari
Ability to learn campus administrative computing databases – Banner software, CMS software and EMS scheduling software
Excellent oral, written, organizational and telephone skills
Ability to work within a team; strong work ethic; ability to perform detailed work in an accurate, timely and confidential manner
Strong customer service orientation
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree required.
Required Experience
2-4 years administrative support experience.
Computer skills require proficiency in MS Office and Internet.
Experience with Banner or other integrated databases preferred.
The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the University.
