Role Purpose:
Support, follow-up, and coordinate Center operations, provide thenecessary needs, ensure the provision of safety and security requirements**,** improve the output quality, and effectively represent the organization inrelevant workgroups, and meetings, as needed.
Functional and organizational relationships:
The Center Supervisor is accountable to the Program Coordinator for the effective performance of all responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Managing the center’s daily activities, training sessions, and courses.
2. Preparing the center’s needed purchase and funding requests and following them up.
3. Planning and coordinating center activities with the program coordinator.
4. Planning and implementing day-to-day activities according to established standards and goals.
5. Preparing monthly reports, activities reports, and other related reports requested by the program coordinator.
6. Designing and implementing effective tools for evaluating and learning reports.
7. Launching and monitoring social initiatives.
8. Hiring the center’s staff and supervising their tasks.
9. Following up with the trainers, coordinating their schedules and archiving their data, and keeping them up to date.
10. Following up with adolescents, and archiving their data, and keeping them up to date.
11. Constant communication with adolescents and their parents.
12. Participation in adolescents training sessions as needed.
13. Monitoring trainers’ performance by attending at least two training sessions each phase.
14. Leading, motivating, and guiding the project team.
15. Representing the organization and the project with stakeholders such as the host community, local government, and other organizations.
16. Follow all health and safety regulations.
17. Adhering to the organization’s code of conduct.
18. Ensuring that accountability and safeguarding procedures are adhered to and followed, and that any observation is reported.
19. Preserving the dignity of the beneficiaries and not causing any harm.
20. Respect and apply all principles of protection from sexual exploitation and abuse and the child protection policy, and the obligation to report any incident of sexual exploitation or abuse or any breach of the protection policy.
21. Adhere to all Takaful Al Sham organization policies and abide by administrative orders and disciplinary procedures in the event of any violations.
22. A pledge to abide by the zero-tolerance policy adopted by the Takaful Al Sham organization in cases of sexual exploitation and abuse, and immediate reporting in the event of any violation in this regard.
23. Executing any other tasks assigned to him/her by the line manager within the scope of work.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in administration or related field.
• An educational and scientific background compatible with self and youth empowerment and rehabilitation.
• Experience of no less than two years in management.
• Experience of no less than two years working in the training and developing field.
• Knowledge of modern training methods.
• Proven ability of leadership.
• Proven training skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication skills.
• Very good English writing skills.
• Teamwork skills.
