Are you a qualified accountant with strong system and Excel skills? Do you have excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills? If so I would love to hear from you.In this role, you will support the Functional FP&A Lead, Fuel, Fleet & International Team and Functional FD, with specific focus on the delivering their monthly reporting. The role ensures the teams are accurately reporting their monthly financials.About the role
You will support Ops Finance in the day to day running of their departments by providing financial support and advice, approving purchase orders, posting adjustment journals etc. You will track and challenge costs and budget variance.You’ll conduct variance analysis against plan and escalate to business partners and/or project managers as required.You’ll work collaboratively with business partners to effectively deliver informative management information relating to their functional areas.You’ll work with Group Finance, Operations Finance and the FP&A teams to communicate overall financial performance of the investment programme.You’ll be involved in adhoc projects in support of the broader Group and team objectives, as well as improvement of reporting.About youTo truly excel in the role, you’ll possess the key skills and experience listed below –

  • Strong systems and data skills (SAP, Qlikview, Advanced Excel, Advanced Powerpoint, Think Cell and Anaplan).
  • Sound analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both verbal and written
  • Effective organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • An enquiring and inquisitive mind
  • Ability to work at pace and evaluate risk
  • Good knowledge of business case activities

Qualification

  • Qualified Accountant (required)
