Centre Assistant

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £20,840 + £3,000 South East Weighting allowance

Contract Term: Permanent, subject to satisfactory references, an Enhanced DBS check and a 6 month probationary period.

We are looking to appoint a full-time Centre Assistant at our Carroty Wood outdoor activity centre in Tonbridge, Kent.

The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Facilities Manager to help ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, and that the centre is well maintained and presented. They will provide practical assistance in the preparation of buildings and facilities, and carry out physical tasks and routine checks around the centre. They may also assist with lifeguarding duties (once trained), stocking the tuck-shop, and will also be included in the on-call duty rota for welcoming groups when they arrive and being the first point of contact during their stay.

This role is subject to an Occupational Requirement (OR) that the successful applicant is a Christian who is committed to the values, beliefs and behaviours set out in our ethos statement.
