Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.Explore our short clips, ” are Yakima – WE are Family” and ” ” for a glimpse into our dedication to our communities, health, and families.Position Highlights$22.51-$33.14/hour DOEAdditional 4% pay for your bilingual skillsWhat You’ll Do:Maintain and update patient medical records, including vital signs, treatments, and medications, and review immunization records.Prepare for patient visits by reviewing files, ensuring necessary reports are available, and collaborating with Providers for efficient scheduling and continuity of carePrepare and maintain exam rooms, explain procedures to patients, provide education and coaching, respond to patient questions and concerns, and assist physicians during exams and proceduresCollect and prepare lab specimens, administer medication, and perform other assigned clinical responsibilitiesQualifications:Minimum high school diploma orCompletion of either an accredited medical assisting program from CAAHEP or ABHES (720 training hours, including 160-hour externship), approved apprentice program, 720 hours of college education, equivalent military training, or current MA or eligibility for certificationOne year’s experience as a CMA is preferredCPR certificationNational credential from AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT within 90 days of hireBilingual (English/Spanish) required at a level 10Medical knowledge for understanding theories, reasons, and technical aspects of medicineStrong people skills to handle diverse personalities, backgrounds, and situationsExcellent multitasking ability to manage varied workloadsProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Epic, and EMROur Mission Statement“Together we transform our communities through compassionate, individualized care, eliminating barriers to health and well-being.”Our mission celebrates inclusivity.
