About the role:
Due to an internal transfer, we are seeking a Chaplain who will provide quality person-centred Chaplaincy/ Pastoral Care that meets the needs of the community, staff and volunteers and is consistent with BaptistCare’s Purpose and Values.
This is a permanent part time role (6.08 hours per fortnight)based in Newcastle (working across Wallsend and Windale).

The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy /pastoral care OR tertiary theological qualifications with a willingness to undertake chaplaincy / pastoral care specific training within the first 12 months of employment.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of Christian spiritual maturity with a pastoral heart
- Active involvement in and recommendation from a local Christian Church
- Chaplaincy or pastoral care experience
- Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary settings
- Current ‘Working with Children Check’
- Willingness to undergo a police check
