About the role:
The chaplain will provide quality person-centred Chaplaincy/ Pastoral Care that meets the needs of our residents and their families, staff and volunteers and is consistent with BaptistCare’s Purpose and Values.
The position is a permanent part time role offering 27 hours per week supporting our residents and staff across 3 sites:
- BaptistCare Morven Gardens (Leura)
- BaptistCare Merindal Hamlet (Glenbrook)
- BaptistCare Wingara Hamlet (Springwood)

The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy /pastoral care OR tertiary theological qualifications with a willingness to undertake chaplaincy / pastoral care specific training within the first 12 months of employment.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of Christian spiritual maturity with a pastoral heart
- Active involvement in and recommendation from a local Christian Church
- Chaplaincy or pastoral care experience
- Current or willing to obtain WWCC and NDIS check
- Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary settings
- Willingness to undergo a police check
