<Job Purpose and Organizational Context>:

Sous les conseils et la supervision directe de l’assistant Administratif et Logistique, le chauffeur joue un rôle clé pour le transport, la gestion des courses du bureau. Il favorise une approche axée sur le client, la gestion du temps, la qualité et les résultats.

 Le chauffeur travaille en étroite collaboration avec le personnel des départements des Opérations et du Programme, des projets, ainsi que les divers partenaires du bureau.
 

Duties and Responsibilities

APPUI A LA MISE EN OEUVRE DES STRATEGIES OPERATIONNELLES ET DES STARTEGIES DU BUREAU:
  • Conduire les véhicules pour le transport du personnel autorisé et la distribution et collection de courriers, documents et autres objets ;
  • Accueillir le personnel officiel et les visiteurs à l’aéroport, effectuer les formalités de visa et douanières si nécessaire ;
    Participer à des missions de service en s’assurant du respect des règles sécuritaires en vigueur.
LOGISTIQUES:
  • Respect des procédures et SOP du bureau;
  • Renflouement et rapport de consommation de carburant;
  • Assurer la pratique du mécanisme de réduction des coûts à travers une utilisation adéquate des véhicules en tenant à jour le cahier de bord du véhicule, contribuant aux plans de révisions et aux rapports.

CONTRIBUTION AU RESPECT DES NORMES DE SECURITE ET DE LA GESTION DE TEMPS:

  • Maintenance appropriée du véhicule ;
  • Respect et pratique du mécanisme de sécurité du chauffeur et des passagers (assurance du véhicule, kits de premier secours, géolocalisation, contrôle préalable à la conduite, autres conditions de sécurité) ;
  • Respect des réglementations en matière de conduite au niveau national.

SENS DE COMMUNICATION ET DU SERVICE CLIENT:
 

  • Communiquer avec l’équipe administrative ou autres entités pour signaler les retards ou les problèmes sur la route ;
  • Assurer la communication en cas d’accident ou autre évènement.

Legal

 

 

Knowledge of applicable legal framework 

 

Understanding of the legal norms as applied to the United Nations in general, and to UNDP in particular. This includes an understanding of the structure, functioning and operations of UNDP within the broader UN system and the application of international treaties, including the UN Charter, GA resolutions, the relevant basic country assistance agreement and UN system-wide legal instruments, as well as an understanding of the internal legal framework (financial regulations and rules, policies, and procedures) of UNDP.

 


 


Required Skills and Experience

Education:

Niveau d’études secondaires (baccalauréat) avec au moins un permis de conduite de catégorie B, C

Experience:
  • Un minimum de deux (02) années d’expériences professionnelles en conduite ;
  • Connaissance du code de la route et être détenteur d’un permis de conduire B-C valable ;
  • Avoir un permis de conduite datant d’au moins cinq (05) ans ;
  • Aptitude pour les réparations mineures ;
  • Expérience de conduite en ville et en région ;
  • Une notion de base en matière de gestion sécuritaire serait un atout ;
  • Excellente connaissance du Français.
