Role: Chef de Partie
Location: SheffieldRate of pay: £16.00 per hour + holiday payPlatinum Recruitment are supporting a well-known football stadium in the Sheffield area who are looking for a Chef de Partie to assist them throughout their upcoming season from August 2024 – May 2025. You will be working within a busy, enthusiastic team to prepare high quality food. Must have experience in cooking with fresh ingredients.Duties to include:

• Prepare and cook fresh vegetables, salads, prepare desserts and other produce.
• To work with customer’s dietary requirements
• The ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Work without supervision, on occasions, to produce meals to meet high standards and in the absence of senior kitchen staff, assist with ordering stock, menu planning and staff training
• Ensure kitchen hygiene standards are always maintained to the levels required by the Head Chef, in line with Environmental Health Office regulations.
• Assist with stock control and stock take procedures as necessary under the direction of the Head Chef and/or Sous Chef.
• Receive deliveries of goods and assist with the storage of goods under the guidance of Head Chef and/or Sous Chef
• Run a section for a full service when required
• To assist in new ideas with current trends
• To work to & meet with all Health & Safety & risk assessment procedures
