Role: Chief Development Officer
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Salary Range: $275,000 – $325,000
Summary:
The Chief Development Officer provides strategic leadership to
ensure The Trevor Project has the financial resources needed
to serve the large number of young people in crisis and expand the
impact of its program in the U.S., Mexico/Latin America. As a
member of the Executive Team, this role will lead the organization
in preparing and implementing a multi-year fundraising plan. In
partnership with the CEO, the CDO will serve as a lead
representative of The Trevor Project. This role will continue to
develop and expand a multi-tiered fundraising strategy to raise
over $80M to fund our mission. Development’s strategy will
encompass diverse funding streams including major donors, community
philanthropy, social or peer-to-peer opportunities, foundations,
planned giving, foundations and government and corporate
partnerships.
