Home Leone is a unique, holistic mission, serving the poorest. This landmark, Christian entrepreneurial initiative, enables opportunities for slum dwellers to relocate and impact wider communities.
Home Leone was founded in 2014. It builds upon a rich history of Christian mission, overseas development, volunteer and team building experience. It is enabling people in Sierra Leone to exit slums and join a new community as we build Destiny Village. We build low cost (affordable) homes, run businesses (livlihood and sustainability) developed a school with over 400 children, address healthcare, water,power and training. This year we are investing in health centre to serve 5,000 people and establishing vocational training alongside other activities.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and personally effective Chief Executive to lead the vision and oversee all operational functions including administration, businesses, education, power, healthcare, movers and residents, water and sanitation, finance, fundraising, marketing, communications, IT, HR and programs.
Key priorities include:
The role includes regular travel to Sierra Leone. The board are keen to support you.
To succeed in this role you must have at least 5 years proven record of achievement in a senior position within a charity/ not for profit organisation/mission; have experience of managing, motivating and developing staff; a strong fundraising track record, and experience of effective partnership working and development of external relationship management.
To achieve the above, you will be a confident, skilled and inspirational leader who is passionate about improving lives and committed to best practice with a drive for continual improvement.
