The Sexual Assault Support Service Inc (SASS) is a southern-based community service organisation providing support and information to victims-survivors of sexual violence.
SASS is committed to providing trauma-informed and evidence-based support services for victims-survivors and the people who support them, including a 24/7 crisis response service, counselling, information and advocacy, as well as related programs. SASS also contributes to community education, with the provision of training and workshops to schools, workplaces and health professionals.

An impactful and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Chief Executive Officer to join SASS as the organisation moves through a time of transformational change and growth.
Based in Hobart, the CEO will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the organisation in a sustainable manner, while providing visionary leadership to the passionate and dedicated team who are carrying out the important work of SASS.
The successful applicant will demonstrate strategic leadership skills evidenced by a strong background and effectiveness at an executive level in human services or other related areas.
Highly developed organisational management skills and a track record of success leading change and continuous improvement, and driving positive, supportive and client centric organisational cultures is also required.
Exceptional communication and representation skills and the ability to build collaborative working relationships and partnerships is essential.
