The Bawinanga Aboriginal Corporation (BAC) is looking for a dynamic, motivated, and innovative new CEO to carry the organisation forward. You will be passionate about developing communities and improving access to services, employment and economic development opportunities. You will have a demonstrated history of quality leadership, collaboration, and people management skills.
BAC is the Outstation Resources Organisation for the Maningrida Region in northwestern Arnhem Land, representing 4,000 Traditional Owners and administering 32 outstation communities and managing a wide range of associated activities to support the people and communities. It has been operating for over 40 years and economic development along with the maintenance of the strong traditional culture are driving forces of the Corporation. BAC are seeking someone who can demonstrate the highest level of ethics, integrity and who is committed to improving the lives of Aboriginal people. You will need to have the cultural awareness and skills to handle high pressure situations in one of Australia’s most complex cultural regions.
