About us

Western Victoria Primary Health Network has a crucial role in facilitating best practice primary health care across the region. The organisation leads initiatives within 21 local government areas – the Ballarat Goldfields, Geelong Otway, Great South Coast and Wimmera Grampians regions, which encompasses a growing total population of over 700,000 people.

It is a not-for-profit membership based organisation which works collaboratively with health services, health providers, community organisations and groups, as well as individuals. The accredited organisation identifies priority health issues and develops region wide and localised programs that directly respond to health care needs. This includes delivering a best practice model where commissioning of services is led by place-based needs assessments alongside service evaluation rigour.

About the role

As CEO, you will be supported by a dynamic executive team and build on the organisation’s internal success and culture whilst enhancing health outcomes for the community you serve. You will proactively engage with a wide range of stakeholders and community groups, bringing your communication, presentation and strategy development capability to foster enduring partnerships. You will work with these partners in co-designing innovative and person-centred solutions for existing and emerging health challenges.

About you

You are an experienced and collaborative senior leader, ideally with knowledge of or exposure to the health care sector. Your track record speaks for itself — you work effectively with varying stakeholders and groups to deliver contemporary and creative outcomes, solidifying your reputation as a thought leader. You have an inspiring presence and can relate to all people, regardless of their background or seniority. You are energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated in your approach. You have well-developed commercial acumen and sound contract negotiation skills. You are a person of integrity.

If this sounds like you, don’t miss out on an outstanding opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to positive change for diverse communities of western Victoria.
