About the Role

As an advisory organization, cFactual helps clients become more cost-effective and improve the world by providing strategic, research, and operations support. To further this mission, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief of Staff to support our Executive Director, Jona Glade, in maximizing cFactual’s impact. The role will be tailored based on the candidate’s seniority level to best contribute to our goals. For more senior versions of this role, we envision a Chief of Staff who can help build and run cFactual, independently manage projects, lead select components of cFactual’s service offerings, serve as the “Head of Fellowships” by overseeing our fellowship program, and liaise with the operations team on key operational needs and initiatives. For more junior versions of this role, the focus will be on supporting the Executive Director in strategic planning, assisting with project coordination and task management, facilitating the fellowship program, and handling day-to-day management and operational tasks.

As Chief of Staff, you will work closely with Jona, who spearheads client development and delivery, and collaborate with our team overseeing client operations support and internal operations. By taking ownership of crucial areas, you will enable our leadership to focus on the highest-impact activities. Compensation: The salary for this role will depend on the successful candidate’s experience, scope of work, and location. Applicants based in London can expect their salary to fall within the range of 50,000–70,000 USD per year for a more junior hire and 70,000–120,000 USD for a more senior hire. We use an internal salary calculator to ensure fair wages within the team, but we are open to negotiating the upper bound for candidates who are an exceptional fit and are likely to make exceptional contributions to organizational development. Essentially, we don’t want people to not apply to us because of salary concerns but we also primarily want staff motivated by the impact they can have in our roles.
