& Pets is seeking a dynamic Chief Programs Officer (CPO) to
lead our array of best in class animal and human welfare
initiatives. As Joybound’s next CPO, you’ll work directly with the
CEO, leadership team, and our amazing staff to advance the mission
and make life better for pets and people.

beautiful Walnut Creek, CA, we’re on a mission to create pet
families and keep them together. From cat and dog rescue and
adoption to accessible training, veterinary care, and food
assistance, we strive to create lasting tales of friendship, love,
and mutual happiness.

What You’ll Do:

As Joybound’s CPO, you’ll be the driving force behind our
programs, leading by example and inspiring our team to reach new
heights. From collaborating with stakeholders to innovating program
design, your leadership will shape the future of animal welfare and
service animal sectors. 

Qualifications:

Passion for our mission and
values.
Minimum of five years’ experience in
nonprofit leadership.
Experience in program development,
launch, and management.
Strong leadership, communication, and
business planning skills.
Dedication to fostering a
collaborative and transparent work environment.
Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit,
public, or business administration preferred.
