Are you an experienced Children’s Services Educator ready to advance your career within the largest local government provider in NSW? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to lead and manage Floribunda Preschool and Nangamay OSHC. As a Childcare Cluster Director with Penrith City Council, you will oversee high-quality education and care programs for children aged 0 to 12 and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our curriculum implementation.
Your day will involve
- Lead and manage our childcare services, ensuring the delivery of exceptional educational programs
- Drive the advancement of our curriculum and educational strategies
- Undertake the role of Nominated Supervisor, guiding and supporting your team
- Oversee budget management and ensure financial efficiency
- Foster a positive and productive work environment through strong leadership and staff management
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain and enhance service quality
What we are looking for
- A Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and care or a Tertiary Qualification in Early Childhood Education
- Proven ability to develop and implement educational programs
- Child Protection Certificate or a commitment to obtaining one
- In-depth knowledge of The National Quality Standards and contemporary curriculum frameworks
- Familiarity with The Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in budget management
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Current First Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Training
