In this Casual role – 3-4 hours per week on a Friday located in Ceduna, you’ll work as a part of our Play2Learn team in Ceduna SA to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Early Childhood Assistant plays an important role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children. Whether it’s working with children and their families 0-5 years understanding stages of development and influences or building capacity in the community, you’ll be contributing to our commitment to children in Australia, the Pacific and around the world.
This role will particularly suit individuals who are looking to gain further experience in a non-traditional early childhood setting and grow and develop in their early childhood career – with potential crossover into social work & community engagement down the line.
You will make a difference by:
- Finding creative ways to encourage families to engage with our support programs and services.
- Identifying and addressing physical, social/emotional, and educational needs.
- Providing information and referrals to families to access other relevant programs or welfare agencies.
- Supporting with process monitoring, data collection, and reporting.
