Child Law Legal Assistant
Our client a multi- office law firm , providing a first class service to people and businesses throughout Essex. Are seeking a detailed -orientated experienced Child Law Legal Assistant to join their expanding Family department with mainly public law cases.

The Role
- Working within the child law team dealing mainly with public law cases
- Using digital dictation system to produce correspondence related to family maters
- Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the solicitor’s day to day activities
- Liaising with local authorities, solicitors , Barristers, courts and guardians
- Processing applications, preparing court bundles
- Lodging documents, preparing short documents i.e. position statements and processing LLA online claims
- Meeting with clients taking notes
- Diary management
- General administration ,including filing ,photocopying, faxing and scanning
The Candidate
- Ideally you will be an experienced child law legal assistant, Family paralegal or Family Legal Secretary
- Experience with case management
- Experienced with processing LAA online claims
- Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel ,Outlook
- Excellent communication skills and a sympathetic ear
- Hours Monday to Friday 9am- 5.30pm
