How can you make a difference?
The Child Protection Officer (NO-2) reports to the Chief Field Office (NO-3) for direct supervision and technical supervision from the Chief Child Protection (P-4). The Child Protection Officer will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Support to programme development and planning
- Programme management, monitoring, and delivery of results
- Technical and operational support for programme implementation
- Networking and partnership building
- Innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably, in one of the following fields: international development, human rights, sociology, law, or another relevant social science field.
- At least two years of professional experience in social development planning and/or management in child protection-related areas.
- Supervisory experience.
- Fluency in Spanish
- An intermediate level of English
