Children and Families Leader

Aims of the role:

• To nurture faith in children (0-11 years)
• To grow continually in their own life of faith
• To create a fun and safe environment for children
• To inspire, grow and lead a team of volunteers who deliver the children’s work
• To create a culture of welcoming, belonging, and participation for children of all ages

Person Specification:

We believe that the Lord will send us a person who:

• Lives a vibrant, Spirit-led faith
• Will actively grow with the church family in the life and work of the Holy Spirit
• Communicates well with people of all ages
• Is imaginative and brings fun and creativity to children
• Builds strong teams and delegates well
• Will be adept at nurturing and developing new leaders
• Shows initiative, organisation and adaptability
• Loves children as well as the Lord
• Will be an active part of our church family

Experience in a similar role is not a requirement as training and development can be provided. We are looking for someone with leadership skills evidenced by experience in any role (professional or voluntary) from which transferable skills can be demonstrated.
