AGIAMONDO e.V. is the personnel service of German Catholics for development cooperation. In the Civil Peace Service we offer professionals the opportunity for meaningful service in cooperation with local development actors. The Civil Peace Service (CPS) is a personnel program for violence prevention and peacebuilding in crisis and conflict regions. It works for a world in which conflicts are settled without violence. Together with church and civil society partner organizations in Sierra Leone, AGIAMONDO aims to contribute to civil conflict transformation there and to the sustainable equitable development of the country through peacebuilding measures.

Green Scenery Sierra Leone is the longest established environmental organization in Sierra Leone and has extensive experience in lobbying and advocacy work on environmental issues and for equitable land governance.

In 2022, Green Scenery played an important role in the development and passage of the new land administration laws in Sierra Leone. Now the organization has a great opportunity to support the implementation and monitoring of these new laws and thereby influence the future of land use and land tenure in Sierra Leone.

It is also particularly important and interesting that the focus is on creating a system that strengthens the rights of women as land owners and users.

To support our partner organisation in Sri Lanka, we are looking for the next possible date for a Civil Peace Advisor for Environmental Peacebuilding (m/f/x).
