Civil Project Engineer – 6 Months Inside IR35Experience & Qualifications:– Previous Transmission experience required.– 3+ years’ experience working within civil engineer project role.– Qualified to a minimum of HND level in Electrical Engineering.– Good communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate diligence and prioritise tasks, as well as a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, including CDM and ESQCR, and the implications of this for Transmission network management.– Candidates should be Chartered Engineers or working towards this.– Provide civil engineering support across multiple projects by creating outline designs during development.Phases– Including site/route selection, ground investigation specification, earthworks designs, public road upgrade,landscaping and access for proposed assets.– Define the scope of engineering design, as well as validate and verify the engineering design andconstruction and installation for assigned projects.– Develop scope of works and detailed specifications, supporting site teams to ensure the quality ofinstallations.– Evaluate tenders and scope, procure, and manage specialist services.ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
