Claudia Comberti Research Assistant: Brazil and COP30

Global Canopy is a data-driven not for profit that targets the market forces destroying

institutions, governments and campaigning organisations worldwide. 

The Claudia Comberti Research Assistant offers committed and ambitious graduates who
are strongly mission-driven an opportunity to experience work in an agile and impactful
international nonprofit for a six-month period. This year, the Claudia Comberti Research
Assistant will work with team-members across the organisation to support the development and
implementation of our sustainable finance strategy for Brazil and across the wider region in
the run up to COP30 in Belem. In the role, you will be exposed to a number of our impact
strategies and projects, including our globally-adopted environmental data partnerships: Trase,
Forest 500 and ENCORE.

To be successful in this role, these are the things that will matter the most:

• Graduate degree at Master’s or PhD level in a relevant field
• Strong mix of research and project management skills, with a track record in an
  applied setting
• Experience working in or on Brazil, and excellent spoken and written
  Portuguese
• Ability to get things done in a dynamic nonprofit setting, and a strong commitment
  to the mission and values of Global Canopy
