Job Overview/Summary:

A Cleaner is responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the center of Qaem building. This can entail dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning windows and doors. Ensuring restroom is cleaned, sanitized, and restock cleaning and office supplies is another important responsibility of a cleaner.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning the IRC Qaem center on daily basis.
  • Load-offload goods, property and any delegated works in IRC office and GH including warehouses.
  • Serving drinks to the employees and IRC Guests.
  • Cleaning bathrooms.
  • Ensuring soap and clean towels are available next to the sinks in MOSUL Office and GH
  • Washing commonly used items (curtains, bed sheets, towels and kitchen towels) in IRC MOSUL Guest House.
  • Overseeing stock of IRC-provided supplies (cleaning and kitchen) and alerting Fleet & logistic assistant before stock-out center.
  • Perform unspecialized maintenance works at the IRC center.

  • Is the decision-making ability based on complex technical and/or professional abilities or simply basic general knowledge?

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

 

  • Completion of secondary education OR approximately 1 year experience in the cleaning field.
  • Good time management

 

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to read and write in Arabic.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Understanding of how to handle cleaning products safely.
  • Numeracy skills to measure cleaning fluids.
  • Ability to operate and use cleaning tools.

 

Total benefits:

  • Salary range: (1,008,000 – 1,200,000) Iraqi Dinars, based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity and budget as well as calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
  • 13th month salary per year.
  • 21 days of leave and 15 days of paid holidays per year.
  • IRC provides health insurance for staff and their dependents.
