Aid Gate Organization (AGO) is an independent national NGO in Iraq, committed to supporting Internally Displaced Persons, returnees, and vulnerable communities across all Iraqi cities and governorates. With operations in key regions such as Kirkuk, Salah al-Din, Anbar, Nineveh, Diyala, and Basra, AGO focuses on rebuilding lives and promoting inclusivity for all, including minorities and persons with disabilities.

1. Objective

The primary role of the cleaner is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the assigned center, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Cleaning Tasks:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all designated areas, including offices, meeting rooms, and common spaces.
• Dust and sanitize surfaces such as desks, countertops, and furniture.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated bins and remove them to the disposal area.

Sanitation Maintenance:

• Clean and disinfect restrooms daily, including sinks, toilets, and floors.
• Replenish restroom supplies, such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels, as needed.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Regularly inspect the cleanliness of all areas and report any damages, maintenance issues, or supply shortages to the center supervisor.

General Maintenance:

• Ensure windows, doors, and entryways are clean and free of dust or smudges.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces, such as entryways and surrounding areas.

Health and Safety:

• Use cleaning products and equipment safely, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
• Follow proper disposal practices for hazardous materials when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience:
• Previous experience as a cleaner, janitor, or similar role is preferred.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and best practices.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
