Huamn Appeal seeks an Office Cleaner to clean and sanitize our office in Mosul city. The ideal candidate has relevant professional cleaning experience, and is efficient in mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and other cleaning works like cleaning chairs, desks, tables . We are looking for hardworking individuals to implement a high standard of cleanliness for our office. being able to collaborate with others, follow instructions from your supervisor, and stay on-task is key.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The cleaner will be responsible for the daily cleaning of the office, restrooms and kitchen. To ensure a proper healthy environment.
- Cleaning all rooms, including the activities room and the office (cleaning, mopping, and sweeping) making sure that the office is suitable for the work environment
- Preparing the tea and tea corner for visitors upon request
- Ensure all garbage is collected in time in each assigned work area
- Ensure that there is regular cooking gas and clean drinking water in the office and that the water dispensers are in good working conditions and cleaned regularly.
- Informing the administrative official of deficiencies, provision of detergents, and cleaning needs such as sanitizers, soap, etc.
- Ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris
- Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Coordinating with program assistant for office supplies for Mosul office.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels
- Clean carpets and upholstery as needed
- Follow workplace health and safety rules
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely and securely
Provide excellent customer service and handle any guests/employees inquiries or complaints professionally
- Diploma or High school degree
- 1+ years of experience as a cleaner or janitor
- Strong sense of personal integrity and commitment.
- Knowledge of cleaning office and guest houses
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy items
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Friendly with good interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Writing and verbal communication skills in Arabic any other languages will be a plus.
