NPA is seeking the services of a cleaner for our Erbil office and guest house with details below:

General Description of Scope of Service:

Under direct supervision of the Operations Coordinator, the Cleaner (Service Contract) will provide the duties as follows:

-Clean NPA office and Guest house rooms.

-Mopping office and guest house floors every morning and when needed.

-Keep the bathrooms and toilets and their fixtures always clean.

-Keep the kitchen always clean and tidy and provided with cleaning tools.

-Keep the garden and balconies always clean and arrange the office when needed.

-Regular cleaning of curtains and blankets.

-Watering flowers in the office and guest house when needed.

-Serve coffee, tea or water to office guests and take them back to the kitchen.

-Cleaning and arranging bedrooms.

-Removing the waste and taking it out every day.

-Cleaning and Laundry of guest house residents (when required).

-On a monthly basis, he/she have to ensure that a list of the office and guest house needs of consumables and cleaning materials/ tools is provided to line manager.

-Responsibility to inform the line manager of any work-related shortage related to his/ her work.

Skills and Qualifications:

-Minimum one-year experience working with INGOs in relevant field.

-Being able to read Kurdish and/or Arabic for the sake of following instructions when needed.

-Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, diplomacy, willingness’ to listen and respect for colleagues.

-Must be flexible, willing to perform other duties.

-Good experience in the usage of cleaning and PPE materials.

-The cleaner should adhere to the policies and personal code of conduct by the Norwegian people’s Aid and representing the organization in a loyal and responsible manner.
