RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
The position will require the employee to work on a research project related to the study “COVID-19 pandemic effects on outcomes of patients in a provincial home ventilation program”, under the supervision of the PI and the Research Associate.

General Duties
The list of duties and responsibilities outlined below is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by an employee whose position has been matched to this job description.

• Help with recruitment-related tasks (phone calls to potential participants, prepare and mail letters, etc.),
• Enter data onto online survey system (REDCap),
• Assist focus groups (note-taking),
• Attend team meetings.

Education / Experience

Education: Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS)

Professional Membership: ☐ Yes ☒ No

Other Requirements:
• Fluent bilingualism in French and English (preferably strong ability to communicate orally in French),
• Experience in recruitment for surveys an asset,
• Experience in qualitative research an asset.

Additional information

Status: Temporary Part-Time, 10 hours per week
Pay Scale: $15,25 – $25,16/hour, commensurate with education & work experience
Work Shift: To be determined
