Supervisor:
The incumbent is responsible to the head of the organizational unit or as may be required.
Responsibilities
The incumbent:
– Collects data and other information related to the activities of the organizational unit examining its correctness as required.
– Prepares, verifies, maintains and updates records in prescribed formats for use by the respective staff; creates, using standard computer applications, back up of records.
– Maintains the general files and various registers as required such as inventory listings, personnel records of the respective staff, job files and correspondences exchanged with other departments/divisions/sections/units.
– Performs word processing and other computer duties as required;
– Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).

Contract Status:
– Fixed term Appointment for 3 years; including 1 year of probation period, with the possibility of further extension, subject to the availability of funds, satisfactory performance and continuing need.
– Grade: 6
– Monthly basic salary: 489.20 USD
Other benefits include:
•Provident Fund contribution (15.4% of basic salary paid by the Agency).
•Senior Professional Officer Allowance (SPOA): 25%
•Dependency allowances (if applicable).
•30 days of annual leave in addition to maternity, paternity and sick leaves.

* General information
1. This vacancy notice is open to internal candidates only. As an Area post, only candidates
who reside in Syria at the time of applications are eligible to apply. The Agency does not
assume responsibilities nor support the issuance of work permits for those who has no legal
documents to live in Syria;
