Role Description

Capco are looking for experienced Client Migration Managers with deep knowledge of Fund Dealing and Global Custody Funds products.

In addition, a successful candidate will have a good base of experience across core consulting and Post Trade processes and functions. These must include:

  • Securities Servicing- Buy and Sell Side
  • Fund Order Management – (e.g. Aladdin or equivalent)
  • Client facing, strong Fund transition/ migration experience
  • Custody experience (specifically Funds but also Clearstream and Euroclear)
  • Swift messaging knowledge/ experience
  • Business Analysis
  • Capital Markets Products- Mutual Funds, ETFs and Alternatives
  • Trade Lifecycle knowledge- Front Office, Operations and Settlements

The role is to work initially with one of our key clients to migrate their clients fund dealing and custody assets from Euroclear’s FundSettle platform to Clearstream’s Vestima platform.

In addition to focusing on client facing engagements the candidate will also be part of the internal Post Trade Practice whose role it is to identify and articulate the capability offerings that would be most beneficial to Capco’s clients.

Skills & Expertise

  • Work with clients to develop and execute migration plans for Fund Dealing activity and fund asset migrations.
  • Work with clients to capture product and technical requirements required to facilitate migrations
  • Work with product migration business analysts to prioritise these requirements for delivery in line with agreed migration time-lines
  • Drive and own project reporting, planning, governance and management

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills; with the ability to quickly gain credibility and build effective relationships with clients and senior stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mind-set are fundamental to success in this role. Candidates will be expected to manage delivery of changes and must be able to deal effectively with a wide range of technical and functional delivery groups to coordinate delivery.

A background in financial services areas listed above is a must, and a background in consultancy is always appreciated but never a necessity.
