The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated professional to advance climate justice through innovative legal initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with affected communities to develop and implement legal strategies, such as identifying litigation opportunities that enhance climate change considerations within the Victorian planning scheme, or creating resources to empower individuals in articulating climate change arguments. You will also lead impactful advocacy projects in partnership with climate justice organisations, extending your work beyond litigation to ensure broad and meaningful outcomes.
Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including organisations, communities, and individuals within the climate justice movement, will be essential as you identify areas of focus and explore long-term legal opportunities. Additionally, you will monitor and document key achievements and developments, contributing to the continuous growth and success of our climate justice initiatives.
