Climate Community Overview

- Position: City Lead (Volunteer Role)
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: ~3-4 hours per week
- Start Date: Immediate
We’re looking for passionate individuals who care deeply about climate and sustainability to help expand our mission in cities worldwide. As a City Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and engaging local communities, organizing exciting climate networking events, and acting as a brand ambassador for 4WARD. Your efforts will directly shape our impact and create lasting change in your area. This is an incredible opportunity to grow relationships, lead a community, and make a real difference!
Open City Lead Locations:
North America: Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Honolulu, Houston, Huntington Beach, Nashville, Phoenix, San Francisco (Bay Area), San Diego, Washington DC
LATAM: Medellín, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro
Europe: Aberdeen, Copenhagen, Dublin, Edinburgh, Istanbul, Milan, Riga, Tallinn
Africa: Johannesburg, Kinshasa
Asia & Oceania: Beijing, Hong Kong, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Riyadh, Tel Aviv, Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow your city’s WhatsApp group, fostering engagement and creating a vibrant community presence.
- Organize regular in-person events to expand the 4WARD community in your city.
- Network with local members and convert them into active participants on the 4WARD platform.
- Act as a champion for 4WARD, spreading awareness and inspiring action locally.
Qualification
- Possess basic event planning, execution, and promotion skills.
- Experience in building and nurturing communities, fostering engagement, and creating meaningful connections.
- Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of climate tech or sustainability.
- A commitment to volunteering at least 3-4 hours per week.
- Show commitment, agility, and a strong desire to contribute to 4WARD.earth’s mission.
