Climbing Coach at Summit Centre

Hours per week: full-time 37.5 hours per week (including some evening and weekend work)
Salary: £25,721 per annum
Contract Term: permanent, subject to satisfactory references, an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and a 6-month probationary period
Location: Summit Centre, South Wales

We are looking for an experienced climbing instructor to assist the Head of Activities and Leisure in running climbing activities at our centre. The Climbing Coach will be responsible for day-to-day planning and delivery of the centre’s climbing activity provision. You will have the experience to lead and motivate a team of instructors and trainees, and to inspire, uphold and encourage the instructors in their spiritual growth and pursuit of nationally recognised qualifications in their work.

You will need to hold the following qualifications: Climbing Wall Development Instructor (CWDI), Development Coach, 8-hour first aid certificate, Impact Route-setting Essentials.
