  • Physio, OT, Social Worker or RN? This role is for you!
  • The rate for this role is $49.47 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation, with generous salary packaging benefits of up to $15,899 per year, mileage reimbursement and travel opportunities. This is an ongoing employment opportunity – we want to commit to you when you commit us.
  • We have positions across Tasmania!
  • We love to welcome team members who have a range of interests and so we are open to a four-day working week.
  • We love people who speak more than one language – especially when this represents your community in your local area!

What is the role?

Here is a typical week.

  • Picture yourself travelling to a client’s home, learning about how they live and supporting them through identifying strategies and supports to maintain their independence as they age. Now picture doing this multiple times a day, each day of the week – and the impact you will have on each person’s life. This is part of our Aged Care Assessment program (formerly known as ACAT or ACAS assessments)
  • Your warm personality, existing skills and experiences, complemented by extensive training and support enable you to convert your client interactions into meaningful support plans documented using digital tools as guided by ACNA’s Active Assessment method.
  • There are other ways of connecting with clients – you could be working on clinical triage or support plan reviews over the phone.
  • You love driving. The reality of our role in the community is that we spend a lot of time driving between clients and listening to many podcasts, audio books and Taylor Swift (okay, Taylor is not for everyone).
  • If you love diversity in your work, you put up your hand up to work in other programs in ACNA such as Residents’ Experience Surveys in aged care…yes, we have lots of programs and lots of opportunities for you!
  • You enjoy the sense of belonging and support that comes from being part of a team with a dedicated Team Leader, whilst benefiting from our national ‘teams of teams’ approach.
  • Dip into learning experiences and team experiences to expand your knowledge, networks and career.
  • Help us to challenge the status quo and look for ways to make an even bigger impact.

Who are we looking for?

You are a great communicator, a client-focused professional and ready to spend your days conducting assessments to identify the needs of an older person.

People will have called you all sorts of different names. Authentic. Fun. Genuine. Brilliant. Approachable. A little bit cheeky. Helpful. Caring. Lovely. Relentless.

In your spare time we’re likely to find you daydreaming about new ways to create an impact on people’s lives.

Sound interesting?
