Position Summary | Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD) invites applications for the position of clinical assistant professor to teach in our Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program on the Indianapolis (IUPUI) campus. This is a 0.80 FTE, 12-month, non-tenure track position. This full-time position requires 1) delivery of didactic, laboratory, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction to dental hygiene students with a focus in courses such as clinical practice, dental materials, and periodontics. 2) Other important expectations include development and updating of courses, student advising, academic scholarship and service commitments (e.g. participation in university and professional association committees and activities). With faculty dedicated to and focused on each of our students’ maximum development and growth, our Indianapolis program ranks among the best in the nation in student pass rates on clinical, state and national examinations. The candidate we are seeking will come with a passion for student growth and achievement, academic and clinical excellence, proficiency in didactic instruction, and experience in inter-professional education, community collaborations, and strengthening diversity, equity and inclusion.
