Summary
General Description:
Under the direction of the Resident Director, the Director of Behavioral Health serves as a clinician educator, ensuring high-quality teaching, scholarship, and patient care in support of ACGME accreditation and the care standards of the University of Michigan. Committee service, curriculum development and oversight, wellness facilitation, resident advising, research and scholarship, and attendance at all residency events is expected. This faculty member will provide integrated behavioral healthcare to the patients within residency continuity clinics. The Director of Behavioral Health is expected to function as a full-time/core faculty member and to support the success of the residency program mission, goals, and objectives, with 55% FTE clinical effort, and 45% administrative and educational effort.
