We are looking for a part time (2 days per week) Clinical Educator to join our great headspace team at Campbelltown. This is a 4 month temporary contract (with possibility for extension). The Clinical Educator is Level 4 of the Health Professionals and Support Services Award

About the Program
The headspace program’s mission is to deliver improvements in the mental health, social wellbeing and economic participation of young Australian’s aged 12 – 25. This includes improving services for young people who may be experiencing mental health and/or drug and alcohol issues.
About the Role
The headspace Campbelltown Clinical Educator supports the implementation of the NSW Recovery Program at the headspace services. The role is designed to increase senior clinician support for students and facilitate connections to universities. This position will work closely with the Centre Manager and other members of the headspace Campbelltown team and external organisations.
Your skills and experience
- Current registration with AHPRA or AASW
- Minimum 3 years’ experience post-qualification
- Eligibility for Board Approved Supervisor status. Candidates who are Board Approved Supervisors will be highly regarded.
- Experience in assessment of mental health disorders, and provision of Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy and other evidence-based focused psychological strategies.
- Experience working with young people and their families and carers
- Demonstrated skills in professional supervision, field supervision, coaching and mentoring.
- Experience in coordinating and facilitating student placement.
- Ability to engage with external stakeholders and develop relationships/partnerships with organisations such as universities.
- A high standard of computer literacy and data entry competency.
- Current driver’s license and have access to own vehicle
