| Job Summary/Basic Function | About this Role: Applications are invited for a full-time non-tenure track Instructor in nutrition. Duties will include teaching a range of face to face and online undergraduate and graduate courses (if applicable); participating in the planning, review, and evaluation of the nutrition & dietetics programs; supporting/assisting dietetic program accreditation efforts; and participating in other duties as assigned by the Chair. Teaching some online courses is a requirement for the position; however, we expect the instructor to maintain an on-campus presence. What You’ll Do – Position Responsibilities: The Department of Nutrition, Hospitality & Human Services offers both an accredited undergraduate and graduate Didactic Program in Dietetics along with the Master of Science/Dietetic Internship program. The programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition & Dietetics. The department has over 300 students in the undergraduate and graduate programs. The department offers both Bachelor and Master of Science in Nutrition degrees with multiple concentrations- dietetics, sports nutrition, and applied nutrition along with a graduate certification in sports nutrition and a graduate didactic program in dietetics certificate.
