SHINE SA is seeking an experienced and motivated nurse or midwife with a passion for sexual and reproductive health to provide nursing leadership and guidance and help us provide the highest quality clinical services.

This is a newly created position that is ideally suited to someone with excellent clinical skills and relevant sexual and reproductive health experience who cares strongly about supporting and developing people and who is motivated by SHINE SA’s mission of providing high quality sexual and reproductive health services to some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

SHINE SA is a leading not-for-profit provider of primary care services and education for sexual and relationship wellbeing. We work in partnership with government, health, education and community agencies, and communities to improve the sexual and reproductive health and relationship well-being of the community.

This is an exciting new opportunity for a Clinical Lead – RN/M (see Job and Person Specification for the appropriate qualifications) at SHINE SA, based across both our Hyde Street and Woodville sites as well as some work from home opportunities.

In this newly created role, you will work with the Director of Clinical Services and Counselling and a supportive clinical leadership team to provide nursing and midwifery clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team that provides nursing, GP, mental health and specialist services relating to sexual and reproductive health including STI testing and treatment, STI prevention, contraception gender affirming care, care for people living with HIV, sexual health psychology and counselling and inclusive GP care.

The focus for our Clinical Lead – RN/M will be on supporting and developing RN/Ms, driving and modelling clinical excellence and standards, developing and updating clinical policies, procedures and guidelines and monitoring, reviewing and supporting quality evaluation and activities.
