We are committed to creating an environment where every child receives the best possible support and care, and all staff are supported to thrive and excel in safe, supported, and nurturing environments.Our Senior leaders have worked on an improvement plan, and if you are ready to embrace this challenge and play a pivotal role in shaping our journey, we encourage you to apply.We look forward to welcoming individuals who share our vision and drive.About the roleThe post holder is responsible for working within a systemic framework providing clinical expertise to assist Early Help, Statutory Social Work and Youth Justice Services to manage risk and improve outcomes for children and their families. The Clinical Practitioner will work within a team of trained Systemic Therapists to provide consultations, assessments and therapeutic support to children and their families. Clinical
Practitioners will also provide advice and guidance to Managers, Practitioners and partner agencies. The Clinical Practitioner will support and be actively involved in the delivery of training, group supervision to Managers and provide a range of diverse and responsive interventions to support children and their families..Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic consultation and support to Managers and Practitioners to support purposeful, focused and outcome-based assessments and interventions with children and families.
• Provide consultations to partner agencies to support them in understanding and developing effective communication skills to work meaningfully with children and families.
• Contribute to the assessment of risk and identify opportunities to increase safety where there are concerns of risk of harm to children.
• Develop and implement diverse methods of working children and families to respond to presenting and assessed needs ensuring help is available for emotional and mental health needs.
• Complete assessment of therapeutic need, analyse and evaluate the most appropriate therapeutic interventions based on assessed need.
• Respond to child protection concerns that arise in the course of interventions, in line with child protection procedures and guidance.
