Clinical Research Assistant – (2400002R) The University of Maryland School of Maryland has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Research Assistant to work in the Department of Psychiatry. This is a contractual position. The Department of Psychiatry has a tripartite mission of Clinical, Education, and Research agendas, serving our surrounding community and the State of Maryland, and providing expertise at a national and international level. Our Education programs are dedicated to training the next generation of physicians, scientists, and psychologists through our nationally competitive programs. The Department houses top-tier competitively funded researchers, including those at the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center. With over $43 million dollars of Federal grants and contacts, the Department is a leading clinical department within the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Through the integration of our basic science work with our T1 translational research, we are positioned to take advantage of new discoveries and developments in genetics, neuromodulation, neuroimaging, and molecular biology and chemistry. The selected candidate will perform duties that support the mission and vision of the department. Primary Duties
Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field of study related to the research of the clinical setting.
