Position Summary
Position performs a variety of database and clerical duties supporting the Biliary section in the Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine that are of a routine and technical nature in support of clinical research/trials to ensure all data are processed, entered, and cleaned according to research specific guidelines.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receives and logs forms/materials used in clinical research, performs entry of data and makes recommendations for improvements of guidelines.
  • Performs simple database changes as directed by Research Coordinator or PI; generates reports and accurately completes all necessary paperwork and documentation as requested.
  • Handles routine calls and routes phone messages, study subject questions and telephone communications to appropriate personnel; performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related work experience or relevant training in medical, research or clinical research field.
  • Strong attention to detail organizational and interpersonal skills.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent high school certification; prior experience in an academic, medical, or research environment preferred.

Salary Range
$15.91 – $21.24 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one’s qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
