We provide a range of customised services, including Clinical / Behaviour Support, Psychology Services, Clinical Supervision, Therapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Cultural Consultancy, Training and Organisational Practice and Professional Development.

We are also NDIS registered and NMT accredited, an RTO and provide psychological services under Medicare.

SAL Consulting connects with people and organisations from the education, child and family, disability, health and community sectors providing customised support in education and clinical programs. We have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin and Perth. We also deliver training programs in regional and remote areas. Our goal is to create strong, collaborative relationships while strengthening the practice of staff working with some of our community’s most vulnerable members.
We are looking for a full-time permanent Trainer based in Sydney; with the opportunity to deliver training across Australia.
The role focuses on someone who can:
- Develop, review and deliver professional development / training programs relevant but not limited to behaviour support, disability, trauma-informed practice, mental health, suicide, self-care, vicarious trauma.
- Work as a member of a fast moving and agile team
- Facilitate training sessions in a blended approach – face-to-face, webinar and online

Selection criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology or a related discipline (e.g.: Education; Habilitation; Social Work; etc.) relevant to the field of behaviour support OR strong sector experience
- Experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues and / or experiences of trauma who have complex needs
- High level of verbal and written communication and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Experience in delivering online and webinar training programs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Current driver licence & ability to travel around and outside of Sydney for training purposes
