You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support trial management activities primarily on the ESPAC-4 trial which is comparing gemcitabine on its own with gemcitabine alongside capecitabine after surgery for cancer of the pancreas.
You should be highly organised, have experience of working within clinical trial legislative frameworks and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels.
You should have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English language and Mathematics.
Relevant experience of working within clinical research, higher education or the NHS is desirable but training relevant to the post can be provided.
Flexibility in location of work between the Institute in the Park, Alder Hey Children¿s Hospital and Waterhouse Building, University of Liverpool, will be necessary.
This vacancy is available on a fixed term basis for 12 months in the first instance.
