- 12-month fixed term position located at the RMH City Campus, with potential for extension
The Department of Nephrology has one of the largest dialysis and kidney transplant programs in Australia. The Department is a key centre for conducting a wide range of clinical trials covering chronic kidney disease, dialysis and kidney transplantation, with a commitment to delivering new treatments and technical advancements to our patients.
Your new role:
- Manage the overall coordination, implementation and management of clinical trial activity within the Nephrology Department.
- Liaise directly and establish strong working relationships with the RMH Office for Research, as well as pharmaceutical sponsors and other external collaborators and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and supervision to the Nephrology Clinical Trial Coordinators.
- Ensure a patient centred approach, working in partnership with consumers, patients, their families and carers.
About you:
- You are an APHRA Registered Nurse; or hold a bachelor degree or other tertiary qualification in a Science or Health-Related Discipline.
- You have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the clinical trials or research sector with a strong knowledge of ethics and research governance.
- You have knowledge and demonstrate experience in the interpretation and implementation of legislation, regulatory and operational guidelines in clinical research.
- You have a current Transcelerate Good Clinical Practice certificate.
