By practicing from a choice philosophy, you’ll empower young people to take control of their own paths to wellness.

Your expertise in assessing complex needs and conducting risk assessments will ensure that every young person receives personalized care and support. By fostering a collaborative and strength-based approach, you’ll help them navigate challenges and develop clear pathways for change.

In addition to providing one-on-one therapeutic interventions, you’ll also have the chance to engage with the community through outreach, information sessions, and group work. Your contributions will help raise awareness and support the mental health needs of young people in our community.

  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of individual and group work, including screening, assessment, targeted goal, and outcome focused interventions to young people and their families.
  • Experience in working with young people within a multi-disciplinary mental health or youth service setting and a demonstrated understanding of mental health issues impacting young people, best practice treatment options, support services and co-morbidities.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse groups and a commitment to working safely with young Aboriginal people and their families.
