Your Role
As the Cloud Engineer you will assist the Cloud services team to keep existing Cloud systems and underpinning network infrastructure running reliably and securely and to ensure users are supported with Tier 2 and Tier 3 queries and requests.
Your Responsibility
- Support the cloud infrastructure maintaining, production, development, testing, business continuity and disaster recovery environments.
- Work to Service Level Agreements and be individually accountable for allocated Service Desk tickets, ensuring issues escalated from the Service Desk are resolved to SLA and customer satisfaction is the key focus.
- Support the operation of Compute, Storage, and Networking to maintain the protection of enterprise information and reliability of service delivery.
- Monitor availability, performance and capacity of services and resources to ensure cost justifiable capacity and performance are available to support business needs and to deliver against Service Level Agreements.
- Implement infrastructure solutions that adhere to current architecture standards in order to support the systems and services used by the organisation in consultation with senior cloud engineers and cloud specialist.
You Will Need
- Relevant tertiary qualification/s in ICT.
- In-depth experience with Cloud Networking platforms, which might include Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with Azure Cloud Networking platforms and Windows PowerShell.
- Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to develop effective relationships with managers and employees to achieve business outcomes.
- Exceptional customer service and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure and work independently.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances whilst maintaining high standards through a flexible approach to work/
