Job Summary
Job Description
- Leads the overall day-to-day operations of TPL activities including cost avoidance, coordination of benefits, and ancillary recovery activities.
- Sets fiscal year projections and objectives for TPL activities, and manages the program to performance.
- Leads the monitoring of the Third Party Liability (TPL) Vendor post payment recovery activities.
- Leads the monitoring of the TPL Vendor file maintenance activities.
- Works in conjunction with the TPL Vendor to develop projections for all TPL Vendor recovery activities including post payment recoveries, cost avoidance, credit balance audits, and any other metric defined in the TPL Vendor contract or as determined by LDH initiative.
- Works in conjunction with the TPL Vendor to develop and refine reporting and dashboards for all TPL Vendor recovery activities including post payment recoveries, cost avoidance, credit balance audits, and any other metric defined in the TPL Vendor contract.
- Leads the monthly/quarterly TPL Subcommittee meetings.
- Leads monthly meetings with the TPL Vendor.
- Assists with all TPL Modularity projects as directed by LDH Management. Serves as the Business Owner for TPL Modularity.
- Serves as the Business Owner for TPL Modularity.
- Develops short range plans for staff organization, training, and equipment needs.
- Conducts an annual performance evaluation for each subordinate, setting future goals and strategies.
- Other tasks as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of professional work experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience with TPL Recovery Processes.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience working with private insurance and/or Medicare verification.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
- Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills.
DESIRED:
- Advanced degree.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience with TPL Recovery Processes.
- Minimum 4 years of administrative support, customer service or call center experience.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience working with private insurance and/or Medicare verification.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience with the LaMEDS system and Medicaid eligibility.
